Robes exhibition for Dulwich Artists Open House May 9 & 10, 16 & 17 2026

All Saint’s Church is showing ceramic work on the theme of home, made by guests of The Robes project, a charity organisation supporting people affected by homelessness in Southwark and Lambeth. Robes provides winter night shelters, hosted in local churches and The Wednesday Club at Crossways United Reform Church in Elephant and Castle.  They provide food, advice, support and re-settlement services to help people rebuild their lives.

The exhibition aims to raise the profile of Robes alongside the moving stories from some of this year’s guests, recounted to artist and art psychotherapist Diane Eagles, who ran two clay workshops at The Wednesday Club. Many of the people who took part were using clay for the first time.
